Hello everyone, I hope your holiday season is going well. I figured I would give some cozy holiday date ideas for you and your partner. It may be cold but there is still plenty of fun things to do whether you live in a small town or a big city. Something I like to think about is that as long as I'm with him I'm always having a great time. There's something so special and magical about being with the right people and how they just make all your worries go away and somehow manage to keep you smiling all night!

Ice Skating
- Grab your skates and your partners hand and hop on the ice for some spins and circles!
Sledding
- Whether it's down a hill or being pulled from a four-wheeler sledding is such a fun and simple activity.
Build a Snowman
- If you want an at-home date but still the magical frostiness head into your backyard and build a snowman, huge igloo, or even a playful snowball fight!
Hot Cocoa
- If you're looking for something cozier to do, there's nothing better than a hot cup of cocoa as your wrapped in your blanket, cuddled up with your partner, watching the snow fall!
Make Gingerbread Houses
- Enjoy a fun yet delicious date night! Make some cute gingerbread houses and after you pick whose is the best, have them as a snack while you watch a nostalgic Christmas movie!
Holiday Shopping
- This one might be more for the girls but some holiday shopping at the mall is the perfect way to have fun while getting things done. You don't just have to shop for others, you're in a mall you might as well shop for yourself to, and go out for nice dinner after to really make it a proper date.
Get Those Gains
- The winter arc is a real thing, and it's a great motivator. If you and your partner are big on physical activity, the gym is a great place. Take some pre-workout, be each others spotters, and cook a high protein meal afterwards. That sounds like the perfect night to me.
Drink and Paint
- Grab your favorite drinks and snacks, gather up the canvas' and paint brushes, and create masterpieces. Whether you just want to have a creative paint night or make it a challenge it'll always be fun
Stargaze
- Drive where the lights are not, till it's pitch black, lay your seats back and just look up at the stars. It's peaceful yet such well spent time together looking up at God's creation.
Karaoke Night
- Warm up your voice cause it's time to see whose got the real talent. Find some of your favorite Christmas songs on YouTube and party all night or pretend like it's your stage, like you've got an audience who has been waiting for you all night.
Thrifting
- Since it's the holiday season, EVERYONE is looking for the best deals on everything. So why not just go to a thrift store, they may not have everything you're looking for but once you lay your eyes on that one shirt or that one hat, it's game over.
Go Hiking
- Now I know it might be super cold outside so choose your time wisely. But if you are an outdoorsy type of couple then this would be perfect. Just get bundled up and make your way down a beaten or unbeaten path, whatever is more your style.
Go to the Theatre
- If you're looking for something cozy yet still away from your house, go watch a movie at the theatres. If you want to see a Christmas movie or not they most likely have both to choose from.
Games
- Video or board games, they would still make the night one to never forget. I always believed that games are an amazing way to make memories with family and friends. It makes you shift your attention from your phone to the people around you, and most of the time it makes you forget about your phone in general.
See the Holiday Lights
- Most towns have annual holiday lights they put up and they are always so amazing. It just looks so magical every time.
S'mores
- You can stay warm by the fire and make delicious desserts. For some extra warmth I recommend sitting on your boyfriends lap wrapped in a blanket, just my personal opinion. (Don't hate me but I like my burnt)
Build a Fort
- Dig out that kid side of you and build a fort! Grab all the blankets, pillows, and chairs in the house. Chairs can be optional depending on your house layout but they've just always been something I used.
Breakfast for Dinner
- This is my favorite thing ever! And if you're anything like me then you could have breakfast for every meal. Cook up some pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, or omelets and enjoy a cozy night on the couch.
Game Shows
- Maybe I lied...THIS is my favorite thing ever. There are so many game shows out now and it's so fun to play along with them. The best ones, in my opinion, have got to be Family Feud and The Wheel of Fortune.
Make a Pizza
- Make dinner a more fun way. Kneed the dough into whatever you would like, a snowman, a reindeer, stocking, or anything. It will be so cute!

I hope these have inspired you and your partner! There are so many things to do in the winter, you just got to get up and do them, and I promise after you get started you will realize that it was way more fun than you were expecting. So pick whatever one...or five, you would like and go and make some memories. Memories are more important than you think and they are something you never regret. However, as always feel free to let me know how it went!
