How I'm Setting Myself Up For Early Graduation

During high school, all I could think about was starting college. I came up with the biggest fantasy about my college life, all the classes, nights out, and overall aesthetic of college life. It's all I would do during my free time or even during classes. I would research and write up the perfect plan for my college career, all the courses to take, dorms to stay in, and study spots around campus. Now that I'm in college, my mindset has switched up a lot.
Now, don't get me wrong, I think college is way better than high school, just not the 'better' that I was expecting. We have many study spots around campus, yet after all my classes, work, and lifting, all I want is my bed, or at least to just be in my dorm. Fortunately, I am best friends with my roommate, so I am always excited to see her back at the dorm or just going on mini side quests.

When I came to college, I was double-majoring in Business and English, as I talked about in one of my first blogs; however, that changed very quickly. I decided to only major in English and minor in marketing, and now that I know the ropes of this registration stuff, I have pretty much everything planned out, or at least I think (clearly that didn't work in high school). As of now, I'm set to graduate in about a year and a half, and I'm only a freshman.
I still love college, the friends I've made and the activities we've all done together, but I have my reasons as to why I want to get out early. I have a job that I've been looking at for a while now, and I'm eager to join the team; however, I'm nervous they won't hire me, as it's pretty high-end. But I keep an open mind! I'm already creating a cover letter and anything else that might help me get in, as well as trying my best in my classes, so I can gain better knowledge and skills as a writer.
I'm taking at least 18 credits each semester and extra credits over the summer and winter. As of now, I am projected to graduate in about a year and a half, and I cannot wait! I will also admit that with me graduating early, I can also stop doing long distance with my boyfriend, and we can finally move in together!
So really, I am just taking extra credits and spending my time studying for all the classes I take in one semester.
