You might think this is impossible. Finals week in college almost always bring stress and anxiety onto students. Not only that but will lead us to develop unhealthy habits. The studying makes us stay up late, snacking on quick, easy to grab junk food and surviving on energy drinks the next day. Most of us think this is a normal college student thing and everyone does it so it's okay, but if anything, it's ruining you physically and academically. Keep reading to find out some ways you can help yourself during this upcoming finals week.
Whether freshman or senior I assume finals will always be stressful. Therefore, it is most important to take care of yourself. Do not stay up studying all night, get your rest. Do not grab the first piece of junk food you see, take the extra 30 seconds to grab or prepare some fruit or veggies. And even if you think you don't have time, you do. You always have time for high priority things that make your physical and mental wellness better; go to your local gym even to just walk on the treadmill for 20 minutes.

Something I always do to help myself stay organized is writing out a schedule of my day and week. I write down the top priorities of things I need to get done, and this is not just studying. I write down when I will go workout and any hobbies I enjoy doing in my free time, even if I don't have much free time. It is important to do things you enjoy to give your mind a break. Some really good ways to ease your mind and relax are coloring, taking a nap, listening to music, reading a book, or playing a cozy game (video game or board game).
For further stress relieving, a really helpful thing to do is talk to your professors. They are the most useful resource you have. You can and should ask them any and everything. Tell them what sections of work you are struggling on the most or ask for the final review early to get some extra studying in. The worst they can say is no, but at least you tried.
I know this was a shorter blog, but I have been so busy with Thanksgiving break and finals week coming up so let me know if you guys would like me to go into further detail with this, but otherwise I really hope this helped you take a little weight off your shoulders.
