Why I Started Blogging

I would spend all day, every day, writing. I would buy notebook after notebook. I probably answered the same prompt over and over in many of those notebooks. I was happy to say that I found my hobby, my passion.
I was definitely surprised, though, I never thought writing would be something I enjoyed doing in my free time. Growing my two main dream jobs I had in mind was to be an architect or an aquarist. These jobs piqued my interest the most. I loved designing, so being an architect felt right. I also adore marine animals, and still do, so being an aquarist seemed like a dream.

Then I made a trip to Hobby Lobby and bought my first journal and a pack of pens to go with it, unaware of the impact it was going to have on my life. I brought these items to school with me, and boy, did it take up a ton of my time. I would write during class, during free time, while eating, any chance I got, I would write, and it was nothing in specific either. I would write anything from short stories to grocery lists to charts to planning out my future, and I would even doodle.
After realizing how much love I have for writing, I began looking for a way to turn it into a career. I found many different writing jobs, and a lot of them looked interesting. There was a magazine article writer, a copywriter, a content writer, a ghostwriter, and more. A few months ago, I came across a company that looked overall perfect. It gave off a positive, fun, and intriguing vibe. That is how I found out I wanted to be a content writer.
Overall, I would say writing has dug a path for me that I never would have uncovered if I hadn't picked up a pen and started writing. I am so thankful that I found something I will be happy doing for the rest of my life. I heard someone say once, "Work shouldn't feel like a chore." We should be happy and excited to wake up and do the job that we studied at college for, or just practice because we enjoy it so much.
